As reported by Shabestan News Agency from Gulistan province, in a meeting with a delegation of Lebanese Shiite and Sunni scholars on July 23, 2010, head of Northern Iran's Great Islamic Center Hujjat al-Islam wal Muslimeen Abu al-fadhl Ameri said, unity among Islamic sects is one of the Islamic Revolution's achievements and securing of which is incumbent upon everyone.
As Um al-Qura of the Islamic world Islamic Iran always is herald of unity among the Islamic sects, he added.
In fact, unity is a super achievement by Imam Khomeini (RA) and is always focused on by IR Leader Hazrat Ayatollah Khamenei, Hujjat al-Islam Ameri explained.
Exchanging views and co-operating each other by the scholars of different Islamic countries can strengthen the unity and integrity among the Muslim societies, he advised.
